Howard “Super Doctor” included in Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide

Meyers teaches and practices otolaryngology, performs surgery and oversees head and neck oncology services at Howard University Hospital.

WASHINGTON -- Dr. Ernest M. Myers, chief of Otolaryngology in the Department of Surgery at Howard University College of Medicine and Howard University Hospital has been included in the Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Edition for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of healthcare.

Myers, who was recently named by Washington-area physicians as one of the region’s “Super Doctors,” has been practicing medicine for more than 37 years.  He teaches and practices otolaryngology, performs surgery and oversees head and neck oncology services at Howard University Hospital.

 He earned a medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1970, completed an internship at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco in 1971, completed his residency at Washington University in Saint Louis in 1979 and a B.C. degree in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery and emergency medicine. Myers is a member of the Head and Neck Surgery Department of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, a member of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the National Medical Association.  He is board certified in otolaryngology.
